Isaiah 42:1-17.

Pause and be still for long enough to notice that during our Advent studies the word “expectation” has come up each week, and each time we have asked ourselves a question:

“Are we expecting to meet with Jesus and be transformed by Him this Christmas time?”.

“Are we ready and willing to live a sacrificial life of praise in response to Jesus?”.

“Are we ready this Christmas season to share the truth of Jesus as our Messiah in ways that show that we are rooted and established in Him, and He in us?”.

As we pause to ponder these questions we need to come with anticipation and expectation of all the Lord gives to us, and how our lives will reflect the fullness of our response to Him.
