As we begin a new year, we need to do that with renewed clarity and vision for all that God is asking of us as His church. Without doing that, how will we each know what area of mission and ministry God is asking us to serve Him in? As we look again at the way we have sought to impart vision, especially during the latter part of 2013, we will have the opportunity to be reminded about all that Bromsgrove Baptist Church already is and does, as well as seek more of God’s vision for the future that he is revealing to us. In all of that, we need to be able see how we can all be an active part of the church. Our verse for 2014 will be very much in mind as we work through this:
“… I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD, “plans for your welfare and not for harm, to give you a future with hope. When you call upon me and come and pray to me, I will hear you”. (Jeremiah 29 vs. 11-12) (NRSV)
