Prayer

We believe wholeheartedly in the power and effectiveness of prayer. Prayer is not only our communication link with God; it is where we discover His will and purposes for our lives and His church. Prayer is continual in the life of the church whether within worship on a Sunday, Home Groups, or Prayer Triplets etc.

Let us join together in prayer seeking God's heart, voice and power. Remember:

“The prayer of the righteous is powerful & effective” James 5:16 nrsv   

Changes!

After a period of reflection during which opportunity was given for everyone to comment 'when' was the best time to meet together for prayer, it was decided that the Monday evening prayer meeting would come to an end. There will now be a 'Prayer Breakfast' on the last Saturday of each month.
Except for the New Year as we begin the year with a 'week of prayer'.
Prayer will begin at 8:30am with breakfast at 9:30am. There will also be the opportunity to stay for a further hour to pray specifically for the Suffering Church. This new format will run until January 2009 when it will be reviewed. It is hoped that this 'fresh' initiative and approach will help and encourage people to come along.
