Peter Marsdon, Director of Operations at Foundation for Relief and Reconciliation in the Middle East (FRRME) is the speaker at the men's breakfast on SATURDAY 6TH MARCH 2010 at BROMSGROVE BAPTIST CHURCH from 8am - 10am

FRRME works to support the unique work of Canon Andrew White, the Vicar of Baghdad. They support St George's church in Baghdad, and through the church they deliver humanitarian assistance to those in need. This includes the St George's clinic, which treats over 100 patients every day, regardless of their religious or ethnic origin.

They also undertake Religious Reconciliation work, bringing together senior religious leaders from across the ethnic and sectarian divides. These men were historically enemies, but they now work together to use their considerable influence to persuade their people to desist from violence, to support the rule of law, and to engage peacefully in the democratic process.

Peter's professional background is that he worked for 9 years as a legal aid, family law solicitor in London, specialising primarily in cases involving physical and sexual violence against women and children.
